Workshops and Boot Camps
Learn from Accomplished Students. Build Skills. Grow Together.
STEM4ALL offers workshops and focused boot camps that help students strengthen their knowledge, explore advanced STEM topics, and learn through hands-on experiences.
A distinctive feature of these programs is peer-led learning. Qualified high school students with demonstrated achievement in mathematics, physics, coding, engineering, and related fields are invited to share their knowledge with younger learners. This model helps participants connect with relatable instructors while giving youth leaders meaningful opportunities to teach, mentor, and serve their communities.

AMC Boot Camps
STEM4ALL is developing mathematics boot camps for students interested in strengthening their problem-solving abilities and preparing for competitions such as the AMC 8 and AMC 10.
Selected programs may be taught by accomplished Mathletes, including AIME, USAJMO, and USAMO qualifiers, depending on instructor availability and the level of the boot camp.
Topics Include
-
Algebra
-
Geometry
-
Number theory
-
Counting and probability
-
Mathematical reasoning
-
Competition strategies
-
Timed problem-solving practice
Our goal is not limited to test preparation. Students learn how to approach unfamiliar problems, recognize mathematical patterns, explain their reasoning, and persevere through challenging questions.
Physics Boot Camps
STEM4ALL also plans to offer physics boot camps led by experienced student instructors, including F=ma and USAPhO qualifiers when available.
Programs may introduce or strengthen topics such as:
-
Mechanics
-
Energy and momentum
-
Electricity and magnetism
-
Waves and oscillations
-
Experimental reasoning
-
Mathematical problem-solving in physics
-
F=ma preparation strategies
Boot camp content and eligibility will vary according to the level and goals of each cohort.
Coding, Arduino & IoT Workshops
From time to time, STEM4ALL conducts hands-on technology and engineering workshops in areas such as:
-
Coding and computational thinking
-
Arduino programming
-
Robotics
-
Circuits and electronics
-
Sensors and data collection
-
Internet of Things applications
-
Engineering design and prototyping
These workshops allow students to learn by building, testing, troubleshooting, and improving working projects.
Learning Through Peer Leadership
Peer-led instruction benefits both learners and youth instructors.
Participants gain:
-
Relatable guidance from accomplished students
-
Practical strategies and problem-solving techniques
-
Opportunities to ask questions in a welcoming environment
-
Greater confidence in challenging STEM subjects
Youth instructors gain:
-
Teaching and communication experience
-
Leadership and mentoring skills
-
Opportunities to give back through STEM
-
Verified service documentation for approved volunteer activities
Student-led programs may include adult oversight and program guidance as appropriate.
Past Program Highlights
AMC 8 Summer Boot Camps — 2024 and 2025
STEM4ALL offered AMC 8 boot camps during the summers of 2024 and 2025 to help students strengthen their mathematical reasoning and prepare for competition-style problem-solving.
Led by accomplished student Mathletes, the boot camps covered key AMC 8 topics, including algebra, geometry, number theory, counting, and probability. Participants practiced approaching unfamiliar problems, identifying efficient strategies, and explaining their mathematical reasoning.
These programs also demonstrated the value of peer-led learning—giving younger students an opportunity to learn from relatable instructors while enabling experienced Mathletes to develop leadership, teaching, and mentoring skills.
Robotics and Coding Workshop — 2023
Before the 2023 holiday season, STEM4ALL conducted a hands-on robotics and coding workshop where students built and programmed a robotic vehicle using Arduino, circuits, motors, and sensors.
Participants gained practical experience in coding, electronics, engineering design, and troubleshooting. Students took their robotics kits home so they could continue experimenting and create additional projects using the skills developed during the workshop.
