About the event
The objective of this annual STEM challenge is to inspire youth to apply Math, Science, Engineering, and Technology to create projects to solve real-world world problems aligned with 17 sustainable development goals of the United Nations.
This year, we are inviting students in Grades 3 to 8 to
Create a science or engineering project based on a personal passion for improving the community
Use basic coding or computational thinking to address the community problem
Community issue aligns with the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to encourage kids to “think globally and act locally”
Showcase your project in the STEM Challenge event for judging and awards
