STEM Challenge

The objective of this annual STEM challenge is to inspire youth to apply Math, Science, Engineering, and Technology to create projects to solve real-world world problems aligned with 17 sustainable development goals of the United Nations.

This year, we are inviting students in Grades 3 to 8 to

• Create a science or engineering project based on a personal passion for improving the community
• Use basic coding or computational thinking to address the community problem
• Community issue aligns with the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to encourage kids to “think globally and act locally”
• Showcase your project in the STEM Challenge event for judging and awards
